Welcome to Bayahibe!

Upon your arrival at Santo Domingo or Punta Cana international airport, you will be welcomed by our driver for a private transfer to your comfortable residence located in Bayahibe / Dominicus.
You will be accommodated in a one-bedroom apartment, fully equipped, with access to a pleasant residential pool to relax after your journey.
Upon your arrival, Joy, your English-speaking representative on site, will warmly welcome you, present the accommodation to you, and answer all your questions to start your stay off well.
In the evening, we have reserved dinner for you at one of our partner restaurants, for a first delicious immersion in local flavors.

Today, it's time to relax.
This day is free for you to rest, enjoy the pool at the residence or head to the beach, located just a 5-minute walk away.
Breakfast will be offered at a partner restaurant near your accommodation, to start the day off right.
Lunch is at your leisure according to your preferences.
In the evening, our private taxi will pick you up to take you to dinner in Bayahibe, at a typical restaurant loved by locals. On the menu: delicious seafood, authentic setting and warm atmosphere!

Saona Excursion: A Day of Relaxation and Discovery
After a delicious breakfast at a partner restaurant just a stone's throw from your residence, our driver will pick you up around 8:15 AM to take you to the Bayahibe port.
You will board a luxury catamaran, designed for comfort and intimacy. No crowds or deafening music: this day is all about zen attitude and small groups, to experience Saona in a different way.
On the agenda:
Guided snorkeling with your English-speaking guide to observe tropical fish in the turquoise waters.
Relaxation on a private beach, just for you, away from tourist areas.
Lunch on board, prepared with fresh local products, served during navigation.
Stop at the Palmillas natural pool, a sandbank in the heart of the sea, where you can admire beautiful starfish, away from other boats.
Return to your residence in late afternoon.

Dominican Cultural Immersion: Exploration and Local Flavors

Private Excursion to Cotubanamá National Park
Start your day with a buffet breakfast included and organized by us in a restaurant near your accommodation, before heading off for a private excursion with your English-speaking guide.
Your adventure begins with a walking tour through the National Park, where you will discover the local flora in an exceptional natural setting. After this lovely walk, you will reach the Chicho Cave, a magical place with an underground pool with crystal-clear waters. Enjoy a refreshing swim and a guided snorkeling session (lamp provided) to explore this unique site.
Once the visit is complete, your guide will take you by taxi to a local restaurant in Bayahibe for lunch. After settling you in and orienting you, he will leave, allowing you to enjoy your meal in peace.
Return to your residence expected around 2 p.m.
The afternoon is free for you to relax at the residential pool or on the beach, located just 5 minutes away.
Dinner is on your own, allowing you to choose a restaurant of your choice.

Exploration of Santo Domingo
Start your day with a complimentary breakfast organized by us in a restaurant near your accommodation.
Your guide will pick you up at your breakfast location around 8 a.m. to begin this day full of discoveries. You will start with the Cueva de los 3 Ojos, an open-air cave that houses three freshwater lagoons with fascinating colors, surrounded by rock formations and lush vegetation. A moment of calm and beauty in the heart of nature.
Next, you will head to the colonial zone of Saint-Domingue to explore the city's major historical monuments, such as the Cathedral Notre and the National Pantheon, as well as other emblematic sites bearing witness to the fascinating history of the République Dominicaine.
After a typical lunch, your guide will take you for a spectacular view of the city: you will take the Santo Domingo cable car for a unique high-altitude experience.
The end of the afternoon will be dedicated to free time in the colonial zone, specifically on the shopping street, where you can shop and stroll at your own pace.
Return to your accommodation expected at the end of the day (5 p.m.).
Dinner is free, allowing you to choose a restaurant of your choice.

Catalina Island by Catamaran
Start your day with a breakfast included and organized by us in a restaurant close to your accommodation, before leaving for an unforgettable day aboard a comfortable catamaran heading towards the Catalina Island.
You will set course for Catalina Island, a true paradise for nature lovers and snorkeling enthusiasts. Along the way, you will make a first snorkeling stop at the Wall, an incredible site renowned for its crystal-clear waters and seabed rich in biodiversity. Dive into this fascinating underwater world and enjoy an unforgettable experience.
Then, you will make a second stop at the Aquarium, another snorkeling site where you can explore a true natural aquarium teeming with colorful fish and corals. Wonder is guaranteed!
After these diving moments, a delicious lunch will be served aboard, allowing you to savor typical dishes while enjoying the exceptional setting. You will also have free time to relax, enjoy the sun and the sea.
The return will be by catamaran, with scenic navigation that will allow you to admire the beauty of the coast, passing by La Romana and Casa de Campo, while listening to live explanations from your crew about points of interest. A final magical moment awaits you with a sail on the Chavón River, a spectacular site often used for famous films.
Return to your starting point scheduled around 5 p.m. Dinner is at your leisure, allowing you to choose a restaurant of your choice.

The information below applies to travelers who are nationals of the European Economic Area (EEA), Switzerland, and Canada traveling to the Dominican Republic for tourism purposes. Entry requirements may change, so we recommend verifying information with official authorities before departure.
Passport
To enter the Dominican Republic, your passport must be valid for the entire duration of your stay and must have at least one blank page for immigration stamps.
The document must be in good condition (no damaged, torn, or altered pages). However, it is recommended that your passport remain valid for at least six months after your entry date into the country.
Tourist stay without visa
Nationals of the European Economic Area, Switzerland, and Canada benefit from visa exemption for tourist stays in the Dominican Republic.
This exemption allows a stay of up to 30 days upon entry into the territory. An extension can be requested on site from the Dominican General Directorate of Migration, for a period of up to 60 additional days.
Authorities may also request:
an exit ticket from the territory (return or connecting flight),
proof of sufficient financial resources for the duration of your stay,
an accommodation address in the country.
Tourist Card (E-Ticket)
Before your arrival, you must complete the online form E-Ticket República Dominicana, established by Dominican authorities. This digital document combines both immigration and customs procedures.
The form must be completed before departure and allows you to provide immigration services with the following information:

flight details
address of your first accommodation in the Dominican Republic
customs declaration
A QR code is generated upon completion and must be presented, in digital or printed format, when passing through immigration upon arrival and departure.
Health
No vaccines are mandatory to enter the Dominican Republic. However, certain vaccinations are recommended depending on the areas visited and the traveler's profile:
vaccination against typhoid fever and hepatitis A is commonly advised,
an antimalarial treatment may be recommended for stays in rural or isolated areas.
It is advised to consult a doctor or international vaccination center before departure.
Traveling with children
Minors must hold their own valid passport covering the duration of the stay.
When a minor travels without one or both parents, a parental authorization for exit from the territory, accompanied by a copy of the absent parent(s)' passport, may be required by Dominican authorities.
In certain European countries, an exit authorization may also be required according to the regulations of the country of residence.
Other nationalities
Entry conditions may vary depending on nationality. Concerned travelers should inquire with the embassy or consulate of the Dominican Republic in their country of residence.
