On the trails of Lake Nakuru's wildlife

NairobiLac Nakuru

3h165 km

After a peaceful breakfast, your journey takes you towards the spectacular Rift Valley, heading to the Lake Nakuru National Park. The landscape gradually changes: plains stretch out, villages appear along the roadside and the horizon reveals the first glimpses of wild Kenya.

In the afternoon, you experience your first real safari. From your vehicle, you set out to meet the inhabitants of the savanna. The Lake Nakuru park is a true natural sanctuary where rhinoceroses, Rothschild's giraffes, buffalo, zebras and many predators live. Along the shores of the lake, birds offer a fascinating spectacle, creating a palette of colours in the heart of this African landscape.

As the sun begins to set, you return to your lodge for a peaceful evening in the heart of nature.

Among Volcanoes, Wild Animals and Naivasha Landscapes WALKING SAFARI

This morning, you continue your discovery with a different experience at Hell's Gate National Park. Here, nature reveals itself differently: towering cliffs, volcanic formations and impressive gorges create an almost surreal setting.

You then continue towards Crescent Island Sanctuary, a small island located on Lake Naivasha. Walking among the animals, you discover a rare sensation: observing giraffes, zebras and antelopes evolving freely around you, without the usual barriers of reserves.

At the end of the day, you reach Daes Garden, a peaceful place where vegetation and calm invite you to slow down.

After depositing luggage in the bungalows, we set off on a boat trip to the island of Crescent Island. This small peaceful island is nestled on the eastern shore of Lake Naivasha. In spectacular mountainous scenery, interspersed with marshes, ponds and acacia forests, the sanctuary is frequented by rich and varied birdlife to which zebras, impalas, black wildebeest and giraffes are added.

The excursion will be an opportunity to share magical moments with the animals. We hike through wild places, out in nature among zebras and gazelles.

Dinner and night at the bungalows near the lake.

Today, a new stage begins. You leave Naivasha to reach one of Kenya's most iconic landscapes: Amboseli National Park.

The journey reveals a succession of panoramas: African villages, vast plains and endless horizons. A lunch-box meal accompanies you during this crossing before your arrival at the foot of the mythical Kilimanjaro.

Upon arrival, you discover your camp, set in an exceptional setting where the mountain dominates the savanna.
