Highlights
Day-by-day itinerary

Snorkeling cruise to Catalina Island
Embark at 9am from Bayahibe port for a day of escape aboard a spacious, shaded and fully equipped 25-meter catamaran. In small groups of no more than 28 people, enjoy a friendly and relaxed setting, far from mass outings. The cruise begins gently, heading towards the Catalina Island, a true jewel of the Caribbean Sea. Along the way, admire the turquoise hues of the ocean and let yourself be carried by the sea breeze and tropical atmosphere.
First stop at the famous Wall reef, a spectacular snorkeling site where corals, sponges and tropical fish form a colorful and vibrant ecosystem. Your English-speaking, Spanish-speaking and local guide accompanies you in the water for safe and interactive exploration, perfect for all levels. The second stop is at the Aquarium, an ideal site to observe marine life up close. The crystal-clear waters and natural light offer perfect conditions to admire the beauty of the Dominican seabed.
After these immersions, return on board for lunch prepared on the boat using fresh produce: grilled meats, salads, tropical fruits and unlimited drinks. Settle comfortably on deck to savor this moment of relaxation, lulled by the lapping of the waves.
The afternoon unfolds at your own pace, with free time during which you can choose to access the white sand beach of Catalina or stay on board the boat to swim, sunbathe or snorkel freely in this postcard-perfect setting.
Around 2:30pm the catamaran heads back. You will then sail along the Casa de Campo coast and navigate through the magnificent Chavón River, famous for its lush cliffs and panoramic views of Altos de Chavón, a Mediterranean-inspired artisan village perched above the river. Arrival in Bayahibe around 5pm, with your head full of images and salt on your skin, after a day combining sea, nature and authenticity, a Dominican experience you absolutely must have.
