The spirit of travel
This 6-day journey opens the doors to a confidential Gabon, where ancestral traditions continue to shape daily life and where spirituality holds an essential place in the transmission of knowledge. From Libreville to the lands of the Tsogo country, you follow an itinerary that takes you closest to local communities, discovering a cultural heritage deeply rooted in the history and beliefs of Gabonese peoples.
In Fougamou, the beating of drums resonates through the night while songs and dances accompany Bwiti ceremonies, one of the most emblematic spiritual expressions of Gabon. In this unique atmosphere, where each gesture, each rhythm and each symbol carries a particular significance, you approach a universe transmitted from generation to generation and intimately linked to the country's cultural identity. Back in Libreville, the discovery continues through the art of masks and traditional dances, whose coded movements tell the story of Gabonese peoples, their founding myths and their relationship with the invisible world. Off the capital, a sea outing also offers you the opportunity to observe whales that come each year to frequent the waters of the Gabonese coast.
The journey concludes in Pongara National Park, a vast natural treasure bordered by the Atlantic Ocean, where wild beaches, peaceful lagoons and coastal savannas make up landscapes of great diversity. Between 4x4 safari, hiking and kayaking excursions, these final days invite you to slow down and fully enjoy pristine nature, offering a harmonious conclusion to this immersion in the heart of Gabon's cultures and vast spaces.
