Located in the small town of Biguglia, your accommodation is situated on a strip of land between lagoon and ocean in the heart of a natural reserve with lush fauna and flora.

Cape Corsica and American Palazzis

Today you'll venture off the beaten path to discover the most beautiful villages in Cap Corse. A preserved region, Cap Corse enjoys unspoiled nature and a remarkable architectural heritage: Genoese towers, old sheepfolds, mills and Americans' houses.
Start your day by visiting the Savina mill. This mill, more than 1,600 years old, produces olive oil and chestnut flour in a traditional way using the power of water and stone millstones. One of the last still in operation and using traditional production methods.
Picnic and short hike along the coastline starting from the hamlet of Cannelle to discover the site of a former sheepfold that has a breathtaking view.
Walking time: approximately 2 hours
You then continue towards the marines of Scalu or Giottani for a refreshment break. Along your route you'll come across several "palazzi" or "Americans' houses" such as the Guelfucci Palace or the Stopielle castle that will amaze young and old alike.
Night and dinner in a charming guesthouse in Barrettali or Centuri.

Meeting with Maria Francesca, winegrower
Barrettali → Vallecalle
Departure for an easy hike in the limestone reliefs of Nebbiu. You overlook the Gulf of Saint-Florent and enjoy a magnificent panorama of the bay.
Hiking time: approximately 3 hours
Upon arrival at Barbaggio, you are welcomed by Maria Francesca, 6th generation of a long line of winemakers, for a wine tasting and a picnic in the vineyards. Adding a touch of femininity to a world composed mainly of men, Maria Francesca has managed to combine tradition and modernity within her wine estate.
Dinner and overnight stay in a guest house in the hilltop village of Vallecalle.

Meeting with Aurore, farmer and unusual night in a convent
Vallecalle → Pigna
Today, meet Aurore and her organic farm in the charming village of Vallecalle. Owner of a 20-hectare chestnut grove, Aurore perpetuates ancestral expertise by producing chestnut flour in the purest tradition.

Let's talk about your adventure — Upper Corsica and Cape Corsica
Keeper of the Corsican soul, based in Cap Corse
For me, loving a region is first and foremost loving its people. In Corsica, the villages, the voices, the gestures and the paths tell as much as the landscapes.
