Bogota Tour
Overlooking the city and the altiplano, in the heart of the Andes cordillera, Monserrate reaches over 3100 meters in altitude. In addition to breathtaking panoramic views, we discover its basilica with neo-colonial architecture.
In the afternoon we set out to explore the historic center of Colombia's capital: Candelaria. We explore its small brightly colored alleys on foot and admire its beautiful houses flanked by carved wooden balconies. During our wanderings we will not miss passing by Bolivar Square and Plaza del Chorro, which reveal beautiful buildings with colonial architecture.
In the Heart of Coffee Plantations
After a private transfer to Bogota airport, we take our flight to Pereira, capital of the coffee region Eje cafetero.
Pereira → Bosques del Saman Hotel
Upon our arrival, a private vehicle awaits us and takes us to Bosques del Saman, a charming hotel built in the heart of coffee plantations.
The rest of the day is devoted to visiting the plantations and relaxing in this particularly pleasant and rejuvenating green setting.
Hiking in the Cocora Valley

Morning drive towards Salento.
Without delay we head towards the Valle del Cocora, where on foot, during a magnificent guided hike, we discover the majesty of the place: the famous Palmas de Cera, these tall and slender palm trees, emblematic trees of Colombie.
Back in Salento we visit the village as well as a traditional coffee finca.
The hot springs of Santa Rosa

Today relaxation and fresh air are on the agenda with an excursion to the Santa Rosa hot springs. Several pools of different temperatures beneath a large waterfall, lush and peaceful surroundings, walking trails and, for those interested, massages and mud masks. Just what you need to recharge before the rest of your trip!

Heading to the Caribbean Coast
We take a domestic flight to Cartagena, on the Caribbean coast. Upon arrival, a short car ride takes us to our hotel in the city center.
A major city and gateway to the Spanish empire in South America, a hub of the slave trade and the transit of Aztec and Incan gold en route to Spain, bordered by the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea and the lush vegetation of the inland areas, Cartagena fascinates visitors for many reasons. We spend several hours strolling through its colorful historic streets where colonial architecture abounds. The neighborhoods of San Diego and Santo Domingo are obviously on our itinerary, with Plaza de los Coches, Plaza de la Aduana, Bolívar Park, the Gold Museum, Plaza de Santa Teresa, Plaza de Santo Domingo, the walls and las Bóvedas.
Fishing and traditional cuisine in La Boquilla
An extraordinary day awaits us today. We set off to the fishing village of La Boquilla, on the edge of Cartagena, and spend the day with the locals who introduce us to traditional fishing techniques.
Once our bag is full, our program continues in the kitchen. We discover coastal recipes and in particular how to prepare fish and crabs in coconut milk. We need to apply ourselves as we will have lunch with the fruits of our labor!
These moments shared with fishing families will remain a great memory of our trip.
Return to the city in early afternoon and the rest of the day is free to stroll at our leisure.
Turquoise waters and coconut trees in Barú
Cartagena → Baru
Turquoise waters, multicolored fish, white sand and cocktails under the coconut trees, an ideal menu to beautifully end this stay in Colombie! We meet the team from Sport Baru / Majagua at the dock, about fifteen minutes' drive from our hotel (port tax of 17,000 COP per person to be paid on site). From there, an hour of speedboat and a stopover on the Tierrabomba island and its former fortress separate us from the Barú peninsula. Between swimming, kayaking, diving or boat tours, we are also offered a welcome cocktail and a delicious local lunch at the Aura Baru hotel.
Baru → Cartagena
We are taken back to the port of Cartagena and then to our hotel around 4:30 PM. Last free evening.

Registration is considered firm and final after payment of a deposit of 30% of the total price and acceptance of the specific terms of sale.

Passport
To enter Colombia, your passport must be valid for the entire duration of your planned stay and must have at least one blank page for immigration stamps.
The document must be in good condition (no damaged, torn, or altered pages).
Tourist stay without a visa
Nationals of the European Economic Area, Switzerland, and Canada benefit from a visa exemption for tourist stays in Colombia.
Currently, this exemption allows a stay of up to 90 days upon entry to the country. An extension of an additional 90 days can generally be requested on-site with Colombian immigration services (Migración Colombia), up to a maximum of 180 days per calendar year.
The authorities may also request:
an exit ticket from the country (return or onward flight),
proof of sufficient financial resources for the duration of your stay.
Immigration registration
Upon arrival in Colombia, travelers must present themselves to Migración Colombia controls. A migration control form may be provided to fill out before or during the flight, or may be available in digital format depending on the entry point.

It is recommended to keep the entry stamp or document provided by immigration to present when leaving the country.
Health and vaccinations
No vaccinations are mandatory to enter Colombia from the EEA, Switzerland, or Canada. However, certain vaccinations are strongly recommended depending on the regions you visit:
vaccination against yellow fever is recommended for stays in tropical areas (the Amazon, Llanos, certain coasts) and may be required when departing for other countries,
vaccinations against hepatitis A and typhoid are advised.
It is recommended to consult a doctor or an international vaccination center before departure.
Traveling with children
Minors must hold their own valid passport covering the duration of the stay.
In certain European countries, when a minor travels without one of their parents, an authorization to leave the country may be required according to the regulations of the country of residence.
Other nationalities
Entry conditions may vary depending on nationality. Concerned travelers should inquire with the embassy or consulate of Colombia in their country of residence.
