- Basic vaccines : check that your universal vaccinations (DTP, MMR) are up to date.
Vaccines depending on the type of stay
For extended stays or in rural, wooded or isolated areas :
- Tick-borne encephalitis : recommended if hiking in forests or wooded areas.
- Hepatitis B : for stays of more than one month or activities with risk.
- Rabies : if possible contact with animals (hiking, remote areas).
- Typhoid : for extended stays or poor hygiene conditions.
Advice from our local agency
Consult a doctor or international vaccination center 4 to 6 weeks before departure. Some vaccines require multiple injections spaced out.
