Arrival in Santiago – guided city tour

Upon your arrival at Santiago airport in the morning, you are welcomed by your driver and your English-speaking guide, who accompany you to your hotel.

You then set off to discover the capital with your guide, starting with La Moneda Palace, the current workplace of the president. You then walk to the Plaza de Armas (800m), at the heart of the historic center.

Then, you head towards the famous Mercado Central de Santiago, a traditional and lively place. You can stroll between the fish and seafood stalls and, if you wish, have lunch at this location in a local restaurant.

Finally, you will gain height by enjoying the panoramic view offered by Colline San Cristóbal de Santiago (+ 300m). After taking the funicular up, you will walk a few minutes to reach the summit, before descending by cable car.

You will be back at the hotel around 6pm.

You will depart early in the morning for a full day of navigation * on the fjord Última Esperanza with your English-speaking guide.

You will be able to observe the Glaciers Balmaceda from the boat, then, further north, you will take a short trail to reach the foot of the impressive Serrano glacier.

Throughout the excursion, you will discover the incredible Patagonian fauna and flora: waterfalls, canelos, birds, sea lions, sea wolves… A typical meal will await you at the Perales estancia.

Zodiac ride up the Serrano river with spectacular views of the Campo de Hielo Sur glacier and the endemic forest of Patagonia, to reach the Serrano sector of the National Park Torres del Paine.

Return to Puerto Natales by road with arrival around 5:30 PM.

Puerto Natales – Torres del Paine National Park

You will leave early in the morning towards the Park Torres del Paine.

On the way, you will make a first stop to visit the Milodon Cave (where remains of Milodon, a kind of giant sloth that lived in prehistoric times, were found) then a second stop at Cerro Castillo (optional).

You will then enter the park, where you will observe flora and fauna of exceptional richness throughout the day.

You will start by skirting Laguna Amarga and Nordenskjöld and Pehoé lakes, bodies of water with emerald colors. You will gradually be able to make out the famous Cuernos del Paine (3 granite towers that gave their name to the park).

You will then head towards Salto Grande, a sumptuous waterfall where you can admire the Cuernos in all their splendor.

You will have lunch in front of this grandiose landscape, before taking a short hike (20 minutes) in the woods to reach the viewpoint and enjoy this unique panorama.

You will be back in Puerto Natales around 7:30 PM.

Rainbow Valley and lunar landscapes of the Atacama Desert

In the morning, you set off to discover the Domeyko mountains and the spectacular del Arcoiris valley, whose multicolored hills (red, green, blue, gray and purple) are sculpted by centuries of erosion and mineral deposits.

The visit continues in the Hierbas Buenas sector, known for its volcanic rock formations covered with petroglyphs testifying to the presence of pre-Columbian peoples.

You will depart in the morning from the village of Hanga Roa, along the east coast of the island. You will visit the Vaihu temples, then the Akahanga site, remains of an ancient village in the south of the island.

According to tradition, the first king of the island Ariki Hotu Matu'a would be buried there. You will then head towards the archaeological complex Te Pito Kura, which houses the largest moai on the island.

You will have a picnic at midday. Then, you will head towards the quarry of the Rano Raraku volcano, where the moai were carved.

We will continue with a visit to Ahu Tongariki, the largest moai site on the island, then Nau Nau, one of the most beautiful moai platforms, located about a hundred meters from Anakena beach.

You will end the day by enjoying the beautiful Anakena beach.

Easter Island

You will end the day with a visit to Viña del Mar, taking Avenida Perú, which runs along Acapulco beach.

Santé

Aucun vaccin n'est obligatoire pour entrer au Chili en provenance de l'EEE, de la Suisse ou du Canada. Il est néanmoins conseillé de mettre à jour ses vaccinations courantes (diphtérie, tétanos, poliomyélite, hépatite A et B) avant le départ.

Pour les voyageurs se rendant dans des zones forestières ou rurales, notamment dans le sud du pays, des précautions contre le hantavirus, transmis par certains rongeurs, sont recommandées. Il est conseillé de consulter un médecin ou un centre de vaccination internationale avant le départ.

Voyage avec des enfants

Les mineurs doivent être titulaires de leur propre passeport valide couvrant la durée du séjour.

Dans certains pays européens, lorsqu'un mineur voyage sans l'un de ses parents, une autorisation de sortie du territoire peut être exigée selon la réglementation du pays de résidence.
