Day-by-day itinerary

Tree Climbing Initiation
Upon arriving in the Jura, you will meet your arboricultural guide over a picnic from your backpack, in a lovely green spot. A first simple and friendly moment to meet, take your time, and gently enter the adventure.
Then head to the forest. A somewhat secret forest, a bit mysterious, one of those that invites you to slow down and look up. There, we will meet three venerable fir trees, silent guardians of the place.
The afternoon will be devoted to an introduction to tree climbing, with rope ascent and self-belay, to discover the canopy in a different way. It will also be an opportunity to open your eyes wide to the fascinating world of trees, between nature, sensations and wonder. Then comes the time to prepare our forest bivouac.
In the evening, small campfire, shared meal, and evening under the stars. Then we will climb back into our trees for the night, cradled by the tall fir trees and, perhaps, by the discreet song of the barn owl.

Climbing technique and well-being!
Wake up to the sound of the black woodpecker, in the soft morning light. After a peaceful descent from our perched nests and a good breakfast in the forest, we'll head back up to the heights to discover the tree canopies. Another opportunity to gain altitude, confidently, this time secured by a companion on this beautiful adventure.
Throughout the morning, we'll be able to deepen our climbing techniques and learn some knots to gain independence.
For the more daring, a pendulum swing will add a good dose of thrills to the experience.
Late morning, we'll head to our comfortable guesthouse, just ten minutes away by car through carpooling. We'll share the meal together there, on the terrace if the weather permits.
The afternoon will be a gentler time, to enjoy the peace and quiet of the place, the guesthouse, its sauna and its Norwegian bath.

Via Ferratta of Vouglans
After a good night at the cottage, we'll hit the road early in the morning towards the limestone cliffs that dominate the Vouglans lake. After a short carpool ride of approximately 20 minutes, we'll meet up with Soline, a climbing instructor, for a new vertical adventure.
The via ferrata, ranging from AD to D level depending on the chosen variants, promises a beautiful moment between rock, exposure and landscapes. On the program: walkway, ladders, monkey bridge and more challenging sections for those who enjoy a bit more commitment. And always, as a backdrop, the beauty of Vouglans lake, notably featuring an impressive 90-meter walkway suspended above the water.
After this morning on the cliff face, Anne or Tedi will suggest a picnic, followed by an easy hike in the surroundings of Vouglans lake, to extend the day at the pace of the Jura, between nature and breathing space.
In the evening, return to the cottage for a simpler and warmer time around shared collective cooking, to enjoy together.

Return to ground for a hike
For this last day, we will set off on a full-day hike through forests, valleys and small mountain lakes, accompanied by Anne or Tédi. A wonderful way to extend the adventure gently into the heart of the Jura landscapes.
Along the way, we will take time to enjoy the atmosphere of the massif, between clearings, undergrowth and peaceful waters. Depending on the weather and the group's preferences, a swim in a lake can add a refreshing touch to the day.
Then it will be time to part ways, in the middle or late afternoon, with a little more of the Jura air in your pockets and beautiful memories to take home with you.
