The spirit of travel

This 14-day Taïwan trip is designed for travelers who wish to discover the island at a hiking pace, between peaks, forests and mountainous territories. From the volcanic reliefs of Yangmingshan to the trails of Sheipa, you evolve in the heart of preserved nature punctuated by hot springs, waterfalls and forests.

The itinerary then reaches Alishan, where ancient forest paths, thousand-year-old cypress trees and tea plantations accompany your hikes. The climb of Mount Tashan offers a first experience at altitude before heading towards the Jade Mountain massif. With a night at the Paiyun refuge, the ascent of Yushan, the island's highest peak, constitutes one of the highlights of this adventure.

The journey continues on the ancient trails of Tefuye, then through the forest landscapes of Shanlinxi and the Xitou region. Between fir forests, mist-shrouded ridges and paths once traveled by indigenous communities, each stage reveals a new facet of Taïwan's mountains. Sun Moon Lake and the ascent of Shuishe conclude this hiking-focused journey toward nature and wide open spaces.
