Séjour touristique sans visa

Les ressortissants de l'Espace économique européen et de la Suisse bénéficient de la libre circulation au sein de l'Union européenne et peuvent séjourner en Suède sans limitation de durée pour un séjour touristique, sans démarche de visa préalable.

Les ressortissants canadiens bénéficient d'une exemption de visa dans le cadre de l'espace Schengen, permettant un séjour touristique jusqu'à 90 jours sur toute période de 180 jours au sein de l'espace Schengen.

Autorisation de voyage ETIAS (ressortissants canadiens)

À compter de la mise en œuvre du système européen d'information et d'autorisation concernant les voyages (ETIAS), les ressortissants canadiens exemptés de visa devront obtenir une autorisation de voyage préalable avant de se rendre en Suède ou dans tout autre pays de l'espace Schengen.

Cette autorisation électronique sera à demander en ligne avant le départ et sera liée au passeport du voyageur. Elle concernera notamment :

  • les informations du passeport,

  • les informations personnelles du voyageur,

  • les antécédents de voyage et de santé.

Il est recommandé de vérifier l'état d'avancement du déploiement de l'ETIAS auprès des autorités officielles avant votre départ.

Voyage avec des enfants

Les mineurs ressortissants de l'EEE et de la Suisse peuvent voyager avec une carte nationale d'identité ou un passeport valide. Les mineurs canadiens doivent être titulaires de leur propre passeport valide couvrant la durée du séjour.

Dans certains pays, lorsqu'un mineur voyage sans l'un de ses parents, une autorisation de sortie du territoire peut être exigée selon la réglementation du pays de résidence.
