Arrival in Sri Lanka and First Discovery of Negombo
To Negombo
Upon your arrival at Colombo International Airport, you are welcomed and transferred to your hotel in Negombo.
In the evening, you enjoy a dinner accompanied by a presentation of your stay and a first briefing.
This first day continues with a small discovery of Negombo, a coastal town where you begin to soak up the local atmosphere.

Dambulla and its Buddhist Caves
After this first discovery of Negombo, you leave the coast and take the road towards the interior in the direction of Habarana, next stage of your trip to Sri Lanka.
Along the way, you discover the Buddhist caves of Dambulla, adorned with numerous statues and murals.
You then continue with the discovery of the local wholesale market, another facet of Sri Lankan daily life.

Sigiriya and Polonnaruwa, Following in the Footsteps of Ancient Kingdoms
The day begins with the climb of the Lion Rock of Sigirîya, one of the iconic sites of your itinerary.
You continue your discovery of Sri Lankan heritage at Polonnaruwa, where you explore the ancient royal ruins by bike. Between ancient temples, Buddha statues and peaceful landscapes, this ride immerses you in the history of the island's ancient kingdoms.

Temples and traditions on the Kandy route
On the way, you visit the Aluvihare and Sri Muthumariamman temples, two stops dedicated to the island's religious heritage.
Upon arrival, you discover the atmosphere of Kandy, between spirituality, peaceful lake and lively market.

Temples and Villages Around Kandy
You leave the hustle and bustle of Kandy to explore the lush villages of the surrounding area.
During this getaway, you discover three temples, featuring intricately carved wooden sculptures, colorful frescoes and peaceful atmosphere.
A day dedicated to Sri Lankan heritage and spirituality.

Peradeniya Garden and Rafting at Kitulgala
You then leave the Kandy region and head towards Kitulgala, in the heart of a lush environment.
You start the day with a walk through the lush pathways of the Royal Botanic Garden of Peradeniya.
Then, it's time for adventure with a rafting descent on the Kelani River. For two hours, you navigate the river in the heart of Kitulgala's natural landscapes.

Train journey to Ella and Nine Arch Bridge
You board the Sri Lankan train to reach Ella. The journey takes you through the mountains and tea plantations, offering another way to discover the island's landscapes.
Upon your arrival in Ella, you set off to discover the Nine Arch Bridge, nestled in the heart of lush vegetation.

Tea Plantations and Little Adam's Peak in Ella
You set off to explore the tea plantations of Ella by tuk-tuk. Along the way, you meet the tea pickers and admire the valleys from the heights.
You continue with the ascent of Little Adam's Peak, in the heart of Ella's mountainous landscapes.
The day ends with a zipline descent at 80 km/h above the mountains of Ella.

Hiking between tea plantations and waterfalls
You are heading out on a hike through the tea plantations and small villages of Ella.
Your itinerary takes you to the Lanka and Bambarakanda waterfalls, the latter being the highest waterfall in Sri Lanka.

Rawana Falls, Buduruwagala and Yala Safari
You leave the mountains of Ella and continue your journey towards Tissamaharama.
Along the way, you discover the Rawana waterfalls, then the statues of Buduruwagala.
You then venture into the heart of the Yala National Park to observe Sri Lanka's wildlife, including elephants and leopards, amidst the park's pristine landscapes.

Water sports and mangroves in Bentota
This day begins under the sign of sensations with several water activities: jet-ski, banana boat and towable tube.
You then change pace with a boat ride through the heart of the mangroves.
You end the day by enjoying a moment of relaxation on the Bentota beach.

Relaxation and Local Flavors in Bentota
Take advantage of this day to enjoy a break on the fine sandy beaches of Bentota, with sun and swimming.
It's also an opportunity to taste local flavors, with fresh seafood, tropical specialties and typical coastal snacks.

Last moments in Sri Lanka and departure
Bentota → Aéroport international de Bandaranaike
You enjoy your last moments in Sri Lanka before leaving Bentota.
You are then transferred to Colombo International Airport for your return flight, marking the end of your journey across Sri Lanka.

Registration is considered firm and final after payment of a deposit of 30% of the total price and acceptance of the specific terms of sale.
The balance must be paid no later than 45 days before the departure date.

The information below concerns travelers from the European Economic Area (EEA), Switzerland and Canada traveling to Sri Lanka for a tourist stay. Entry rules may change, so we recommend verifying this information with the official authorities before your departure.
Passport
To enter Sri Lanka, your passport must be valid for at least six months after your entry date into the country and contain at least two blank pages for immigration stamps.
The document must be in good condition (no damaged, torn or altered pages).
Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA)
Nationals of the European Economic Area, Switzerland and Canada must obtain a Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA – Electronic Travel Authorization) before arriving in Sri Lanka. There is no visa exemption on arrival for a tourist stay.
The ETA can be obtained online via the official Sri Lankan government portal and allows a tourist stay of up to 30 days, with the possibility of extending your stay in the country up to a maximum of 90 days with the Sri Lankan Immigration Department.
Authorities may also request:
an exit ticket from the territory (return or onward flight),
proof of sufficient financial resources for the duration of your stay,
a confirmation of accommodation reservation.
Sri Lanka Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA)
Before your arrival, you must obtain a Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA), issued by Sri Lankan authorities.
This electronic visa must be requested online on the official Sri Lankan government website. Required information includes:
passport information
flight and itinerary details
address of your first accommodation in Sri Lanka
personal information and contact details
The ETA is generally issued within a few hours to a few days. It is recommended to submit your application at least 48 hours before departure. The digital confirmation must be presented to immigration on arrival.
Health and Vaccinations
No vaccine is mandatory to enter Sri Lanka from the EEA, Switzerland or Canada. However, certain vaccinations are recommended by health authorities, particularly against:
hepatitis A and hepatitis B,
typhoid,
rabies (in case of risk activities or extended stay in rural areas).
Precautions against malaria and dengue may be recommended depending on the regions you visit. Consult a doctor or an international vaccination center before your departure.
Traveling with Children
Minors must have their own valid passport covering the duration of the stay and their own ETA.
In certain European countries, when a minor travels without one of their parents, a territorial exit authorization may be required according to the regulations of their country of residence.
Other Nationalities
Entry conditions may vary depending on nationality. Travelers concerned should check with the Sri Lankan embassy or consulate in their country of residence.
