Tuesday, February 9, 2027: On the road to Molinos
From Salta, take the road south for a magnificent immersion in the heart of the wild landscapes of the Calchaquí Valleys. The road will take you through the impressive Cuesta del Obispo, high-altitude valleys and the spectacular Parque Nacional Los Cardones, until you reach the charming village of Cachi, nestled between mountains and giant cacti.
Then continue towards Molinos, a small colonial village with preserved charm, where time seems to have stood still. Between mineral landscapes, Andean traditions and authentic villages, this loop reveals a more secret and intimate side of Northwestern Argentina.

The road crosses one last time the colorful landscapes of the North-West, between mountains, valleys and rock formations, before reaching the gentle green valleys that surround the capital of Salta province.
A final leisurely stage to conclude this magnificent Southern loop, between nature, culture and discovery of Argentina's great wine regions.

Passport
To enter Argentina, your passport must be valid for the entire duration of your planned stay and contain at least one blank page for immigration stamps.
The document must be in good condition (no damaged, torn, or altered pages).
Tourist stay without a visa
Nationals of the European Economic Area, Switzerland, and Canada benefit from visa exemption for tourist stays in Argentina.
This exemption allows for a stay of up to 90 days from the date of entry into the country. An extension of an additional 90 days can generally be requested on site at the Argentine National Immigration Authority.
Authorities may also request:
an exit ticket from the country (return flight or onward travel),
proof of sufficient financial resources for the duration of your stay,
an accommodation address in Argentine territory.
Health and vaccinations
No vaccination is mandatory to enter Argentina from Europe or Canada. However, certain vaccinations are recommended depending on the regions you visit:
the yellow fever vaccine is recommended for travelers heading to the tropical zones in the north of the country (Misiones, Formosa, Chaco, and Jujuy provinces);
updating routine vaccinations (diphtheria, tetanus, poliomyelitis, measles) is advised.
It is recommended to consult a doctor or an international vaccination center before departure.
Traveling with children
Minors must hold their own valid passport covering the duration of the stay.
When a minor travels without one or both parents, a notarized parental authorization may be required by Argentine authorities at entry or exit. It is strongly advised to check beforehand with the competent Argentine consulate.

Entry conditions may vary depending on nationality. Travelers concerned should contact the Embassy or Consulate of Argentina in their country of residence.
