Welcome to Montreal!
Upon your arrival in Montreal, pick up your rental car and head toward downtown. Settle comfortably into your accommodation and begin to experience the unique atmosphere of the metropolis. For an authentic stay, choose the Auberge de la Fontaine, ideally located in the heart of the legendary Plateau Mont-Royal, renowned for its lively streets and typical charm.

Outaouais nature & charming villages
Montréal → Chelsea-Wakefield
Head west towards the Outaouais region.
On the way, take a detour through Ottawa, the national capital. Then explore Wakefield and Chelsea, two villages to discover, perfect for settling in for the next two nights.
In Chelsea, enjoy the elegant Village Lofts; in Wakefield, choose the B&B experience at Auberge de Mon Petit Chum or the Bellevue Gîte, modern, in rooms or pods in the heart of nature.
At Parc Nature Éco-Odyssée, board a canoe, pedal boat, kayak or SUP to get lost in the water maze, day or night, for a complete immersion in nature.

Only a few kilometers from the city of the same name, the Gatineau Park is the lung of the Outaouais.

Laurentides: Parc Oméga in Montebello & Mont-Tremblant

Join the Laurentides region.
Along the way, stop at Parc Oméga in Montebello to connect with local wildlife.
At Mont-Tremblant, stroll through the pedestrian village of the colorful ski resort or immerse yourself in nature in its national park. In the evening, drop your bags at the Le Grand Lodge Mont-Tremblant hotel, a magnificent log building on the shores of Lac Ouimet, or at the more intimate Auberge Le Cosy.

Mauricie Nature: Treetop Trail & Mauricie National Park
Mont-Tremblant → Parc National de la Mauricie
The Mauricie region will be your next nature stop.
Along the way, make a stop at the brand new ecotourism attraction, the Sentier des Cimes, whose 40 m panoramic tower offers a view over the entire region. The Parc national de la Mauricie is the local natural jewel: cross it from one end to the other and take advantage of the stops to admire its beauty.
In Saint Jean des Piles, atypical accommodations at Nature Nature or 2800 du Parc will welcome you for a restful night near the park.

Saint-Maurice River
Parc National de la Mauricie → Lac Saint-Jean
As you travel up the Saint-Maurice River, discover one of Quebec's most beautiful scenic roads.
Stay in an unusual location, the Ermitage Saint-Antoine in Lac Bouchette. On the edge of its lake and in a completely natural setting, take time to appreciate the peaceful atmosphere.
Lake Saint-Jean & Saguenay Fjord

The Lac Saint-Jean, a true inland sea, awaits you.
To make the most of it, head to the Parc national de la Pointe-Taillon (Camp de Touage sector in Saint-Gédéon) for a short zodiac excursion or a few hours on the wild beach of an island.
You can also drive to the Parc national du Fjord-du-Saguenay Baie-Éternité: if you love thrills, take part in a via ferrata activity; want to admire the landscape from the fjord? Board a paddle wheeler for a cruise. In the evening, settle in at La Baie, at the Auberge des Battures or the Auberge des 21, both renowned for their fine dining.

North shore of the fjord
Cross to the other side of the fjord, on the north shore, and head towards Sainte-Rose-du-Nord, one of the most beautiful villages in Quebec.
With Aventure Rose des Vents, set off on a sea kayaking adventure in the fjord accompanied by an experienced English-speaking guide.
For the night, why not choose one of the two yurts for an unusual experience.

From fjord to Saint Lawrence
Fjord du Saguenay → Tadoussac
Continue along the fjord to the mouth of the Saint Lawrence River, towards the famous village of Tadoussac, nestled on the edge of one of the world's most beautiful bays. Famous for the whales that feed offshore during the day and approach the coast in the late afternoon, the region offers a unique maritime atmosphere.
For the night, choose the Auberge la Galouine in Tadoussac, or move slightly away from the bustle by selecting the Essipit condos or chalets, in the heart of the Innu Indigenous reserve, directly on the banks of the river.
Charlevoix grandiose
Tadoussac → Charlevoix
Head to Charlevoix: between river and mountain, the panorama is breathtaking. Nature lovers will explore the Grands-Jardins National Park or the Hautes Gorges, where outdoor activities abound.
For the night, whether in a small inn, hotel or condo, you'll find what suits you: in La Malbaie, the Auberge Musicale pour un Instant offers charming accommodation with intimate acoustic guitar concerts in the evenings; at Massif de Charlevoix, modern fully-equipped apartment units; and for a touch of luxury, head to the Villas Saint-Laurent, La Falaise or a modern house at Panorama Charlevoix.
Île aux Coudres
Continue discovering Charlevoix's nature and gastronomy. Treat yourself to a getaway to the Île aux Coudres for another perspective on the coast. Rent a bike and leisurely tour the island. Along the way, stop at local producers to buy freshly picked fruit or enjoy some tastings.
Quebec, national capital
Charlevoix → Québec
Head to the national capital, Québec.
Along the way, admire the Montmorency Falls, always impressive. Once in the city, stroll through the streets of Old Québec and Petit-Champlain, at the foot of Château Frontenac.
Head to the Plains of Abraham to learn more about the 1759 battle between French and English.
For the night, experience a true retreat at the Monastère des Augustines, a historic and unique location beautifully renovated.
Eastern Townships
Québec → Cantons de l'Est
Head to the Eastern Townships, bordering the United States, to explore southern Quebec. This region appeals to both nature enthusiasts and food lovers alike. With the Mont-Mégantic and Mont-Orford national parks, hiking is a must.

Passeport
Pour entrer au Canada, votre passeport doit être valide pour toute la durée du séjour prévu. Il est toutefois fortement conseillé qu'il reste valide au moins six mois après la date de retour prévue.
Le document doit comporter au moins une page vierge pour les tampons d'immigration et être en bon état (pas de pages détériorées, déchirées ou modifiées).
Les ressortissants canadiens doivent quant à eux présenter leur passeport canadien ou leur carte de résident permanent selon leur statut.
Séjour touristique sans visa
Les ressortissants de l'Espace économique européen et de la Suisse bénéficient d'une exemption de visa pour les séjours touristiques au Canada.
Cette exemption permet un séjour pouvant aller jusqu'à 6 mois lors de l'entrée sur le territoire, selon l'appréciation de l'agent des services frontaliers canadiens.
Les autorités peuvent demander :
un billet de sortie du territoire (vol retour ou continuation),
une preuve de ressources financières suffisantes pour la durée du séjour,
des justificatifs concernant le but et les conditions du séjour.
Autorisation de Voyage Électronique (AVE)
Les ressortissants de l'EEE et de la Suisse voyageant par voie aérienne doivent obligatoirement obtenir une Autorisation de Voyage Électronique (AVE) avant leur départ. Cette formalité ne s'applique pas aux voyages effectués par voie terrestre ou maritime.
L'AVE est liée électroniquement au passeport et permet aux autorités canadiennes de vérifier l'admissibilité du voyageur. Elle est valide 5 ans ou jusqu'à l'expiration du passeport, pour des séjours multiples.
Pour l'obtenir, il est nécessaire de fournir :

une adresse électronique valide
un moyen de paiement (les frais s'élèvent à 7 CAD)
La demande doit être effectuée en ligne sur le site officiel du gouvernement canadien, idéalement plusieurs jours avant le départ. La confirmation est généralement transmise par courriel en quelques minutes, mais peut parfois prendre plusieurs jours.
Santé
Aucun vaccin n'est obligatoire pour entrer au Canada. Il est néanmoins recommandé de s'assurer que les vaccinations courantes (diphtérie, tétanos, rougeole, etc.) sont à jour avant le départ.
La souscription à une assurance santé et rapatriement est vivement conseillée, les frais médicaux au Canada étant particulièrement élevés pour les visiteurs étrangers non couverts par un régime public.
Voyage avec des enfants
Les mineurs doivent être titulaires de leur propre passeport valide couvrant la durée du séjour.
Lorsqu'un enfant voyage accompagné d'un seul parent ou d'un adulte qui n'est pas son parent, les autorités canadiennes peuvent demander une lettre de consentement signée par le ou les parents absents, accompagnée si possible d'une pièce d'identité de ces derniers. Ce document, bien que non systématiquement exigé, est fortement recommandé pour éviter tout problème à l'entrée.
Dans certains pays européens, une autorisation de sortie du territoire peut également être requise selon la réglementation du pays de résidence.

Les conditions d'entrée peuvent varier selon la nationalité. Les voyageurs concernés doivent se renseigner auprès de l'ambassade ou du consulat du Canada de leur pays de résidence ou consulter le site officiel du gouvernement canadien.
