Day-by-day itinerary

Welcome to Windhoek!
Upon your arrival at Windhoek International Airport, you are welcomed by your local guide before heading to the city center, located approximately 45 km away.
Depending on your arrival time, you will enjoy a guided tour of approximately two hours to discover the main sites of the Namibian capital.
Nestled in the heart of a hilly landscape, Windhoek blends contemporary infrastructure with historical heritage. During your discovery, you will be able to admire the Christuskirche, the Parliament Gardens and their green spaces in the heart of the city.
This first stage allows you to familiarize yourself with the atmosphere of Windhoek before continuing your journey across Namibia.

Safari in Etosha National Park
Windhoek → Parc national d'Etosha
This morning, around 8:30, your English-speaking guide will pick you up at your hotel reception. You head north towards the Etosha National Park.
Upon arrival, you settle into your lodge before heading out in the afternoon for a private safari in the heart of the park.
Etosha is one of the vast reserves of Southern Africa. Its landscape is marked by the Etosha pan, an immense salt flat visible from space. During your safari, you set out in search of wildlife: elephants, lions, black rhinoceros, giraffes, zebras and herds of antelopes inhabit the park.
The water points are privileged places to observe animals as they gather throughout the day.
Night at Toshari Lodge, in Bush Chalet, with full board.

Private safari in Etosha National Park
After your breakfast, you set off for a day dedicated to discovering the Etosha National Park, accompanied by your guide and in your private vehicle.
You explore the park during a private safari, in search of the animals that inhabit its vast expanses. This morning allows you to take the time to observe the wildlife and characteristic landscapes of Etosha.
At noon, you return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, you choose the pace that suits you: head back into the park to continue your safari and multiply opportunities to observe the animals, or enjoy a relaxation time at the lodge.
This day thus alternates between exploration and free time, to discover Etosha at your own pace.
Night at Toshari Lodge, in a Bush Chalet, with full board.

Landscapes of Damaraland and Damara Culture
Parc national d'Etosha → Twyfelfontein
After your breakfast, you leave the Etosha National Park with your guide and private vehicle to reach Twyfelfontein, through the landscapes of Damaraland
Along the way, you discover the red mountains, desert valleys and rock formations that characterize this region of Namibie. You enjoy a lunch during the journey before reaching your lodge and settling in.
In the afternoon, your guide accompanies you to visit the Damara living museum. This discovery allows you to learn more about the culture and traditions of the Damara people through various demonstrations: crafts, traditional cuisine, songs and dances.
This stage thus combines the discovery of the Damaraland landscapes with an encounter with Damara culture, always accompanied by your guide.
Night at Twyfelfontein, in a Premium tent, with full board.

Heading to the Atlantic Coast
After your breakfast, you leave Twyfelfontein and head towards Swakopmund, a coastal city on the Atlantic Ocean.
Upon arrival, you check into your hotel before enjoying free time to discover Swakopmund at your own pace. Lunch is taken on site, in one of the city's restaurants.
Swakopmund stands out for its blend of German colonial heritage and Namibian culture. You can use this free time to stroll along the seafront, observe its historic buildings, explore the craft markets or simply enjoy the atmosphere of this coastal city.
Night in Swakopmund, with breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Walvis Bay and Sandwich Harbour: Cruise and 4x4 Excursion
In the morning, you embark on a 3.5-hour boat excursion to discover the marine fauna of Walvis Bay. During the cruise, seals and pelicans regularly come to meet the passengers. You will also have the opportunity to observe dolphins and, with a bit of luck, whales.
In the afternoon, you set off on a 4x4 excursion to Sandwich Harbour. Your itinerary crosses the salt pans and the Namib-Naukluft park, in a landscape where the desert dunes meet the Atlantic Ocean.
You then reach the Sandwich Harbour lagoon, before continuing into the heart of the dunes accompanied by your guides.
Back in Swakopmund, you rediscover this coastal town situated between the Atlantic Ocean and the desert dunes, marked by its German-influenced architecture.
Night at Beach Lodge, in a luxury room.

Route to the Namib Desert
After your breakfast, you leave Swakopmund with your guide and private vehicle heading towards Sossusvlei, in the heart of the Namib Desert.
Your itinerary crosses the Namib-Naukluft National Park, where desert landscapes, mountains and vast gravel plains succeed one another. This region is home to notably Sossusvlei, Sesriem Canyon and the Naukluft Mountains.
In the afternoon, you continue your journey towards Sesriem, where you settle into your lodge. You then have free time to relax or participate in optional activities available on-site, with supplements to be paid directly.
This stage allows you to gradually discover the landscapes of the Namib Desert before continuing your exploration of Sossusvlei.
Night at Desert Camp, all-inclusive.

In the Heart of the Namib Desert
After your breakfast, you leave with your guide and private vehicle for an excursion to the heart of Sossusvlei.
You discover the desert landscapes of the region and several of its iconic sites: Dead Vlei, Dune 45 and Big Daddy. Despite the aridity of the places, you will also be able to observe fauna adapted to the desert, notably oryx, springboks and ostriches.
At noon, you enjoy lunch at the Sossusvlei Lodge.
In the afternoon, you continue your discovery with your guide at Sesriem canyon. Carved by the Tsauchab river over millennia, this gorge reveals rocky walls, shaded passages and different geological formations. Walking along the bottom of the canyon, you will also be able to discover its natural pools.
At the end of the day, you return to the lodge and have free time to relax.
Night at Desert Camp, all-inclusive.

Return to the Namibian capital
After your breakfast, you leave Sossusvlei and head to Windhoek, accompanied by your guide.
Upon arrival in Namibia's capital, you settle into your hotel and enjoy rest time.
In the afternoon, your guide takes you on a short tour of Windhoek. You will also have time to do your last souvenir shopping in the craft markets and local shops.
This final discovery of Windhoek allows you to rediscover its blend of historical heritage and modernity and enjoy the atmosphere of the capital one last time before your departure.
Your guide then takes leave of you and his services come to an end.
Night at Galton House, with breakfast, lunch and dinner.

See you soon!
After your breakfast, you leave your accommodation in Windhoek to reach the Hosea Kutako International Airport, located approximately 40 km from the capital.
Your guide accompanies you during this transfer to the airport, for a journey of approximately 45 minutes.
Upon arrival, you take your international flight, marking the end of your trip to Namibie and the local agency's services.
