Day-by-day itinerary

Welcome to Jordan!
Upon your arrival at Amman airport, obtain your visa before being welcomed by your driver at the exit. You will then be transferred to your hotel to settle in comfortably.
A representative from our agency will meet you at the hotel to provide you with detailed explanations about your itinerary. He will also hand over your rental car and a mobile phone equipped with Google Maps to facilitate your travel.

Discovery of Amman and road to the Mai'in hot springs
Start the day by discovering Amman, the Jordanian capital where historical heritage and modern districts blend together. Nicknamed the white city and spread over 19 hills, the city retains many testimonies of its past.
The morning is dedicated to visiting ancient Amman, formerly Philadelphia, one of the cities of the Roman Decapolis. You discover the Roman theatre, the temple of Hercules, the colonnades and museums, all witnesses to the city's history. You can also appreciate the contrast with contemporary Amman and its skyscrapers.
Mid-day, you leave the hustle and bustle of the capital to reach the Ma'in hot springs, located close to the Dead Sea, 264 meters below sea level. Frequented since Roman times, these springs offer a natural setting conducive to relaxation, treatments and wellness.
Check-in at your hotel located near the hot springs.

On the Edge of the Dead Sea
Enjoy a free morning in Ma'in to relax at your own pace in the hot springs.
Then head towards the Dead Sea, located at the borders of Jordan, Israel and the West Bank. At 417 meters below sea level, you discover the lowest point on Earth. With a salinity of 27.5%, its waters allow you to float naturally and do not permit the presence of fish or algae. It is also said that Cleopatra already carried out treatments there to preserve her complexion. Along the coastline, passage by the supposed sites of the ancient cities of Sodom and Gomorrah.
Enjoy a free afternoon on the beach, before spending the night on the shore of the Dead Sea.

Heading to Petra
After breakfast, you head south towards the Rose City, an icon of the country, a UNESCO World Heritage site, an exceptional and monumental place steeped in mystery, which will amaze you. Sometimes called the Lost City, built nearly 2000 years ago by the Nabataeans, "lost" to the West in the 14th century and then rediscovered in the early 19th century by a Swiss traveler disguised as an Arab claiming to want to honor the tomb of the prophet Aaron, Petra abounds with tombs, palaces, staircases, and rock-cut temples…
The spectacle is everywhere and captivates lovers of beautiful stone, history, artists, explorers and simple travelers alike. The magic works and emotions run high!
The rest of the day is devoted to visiting the site and its most emblematic features, such as the Sîq (narrow gorge between the mountains) and the Khazneh. An English-speaking local guide is by your side, and if you wish, you can take a short horseback ride. At nightfall, night tour of the site, by candlelight.
Night at the hotel.

In the Heart of the Desert
After breakfast, head south towards Wadi Rum, also called the Valley of the Moon. This enchanting and majestic desert made of dunes and rock formations in ochre tones had captivated Lawrence of Arabia in its time.
You will fully appreciate this landscape of sand, needles and ridges during a 4x4 excursion.
You take full measure of this landscape of sand, needles and ridges during a 2-hour 4x4 excursion, until the magical blaze of sunset.

Free day in Aqaba
Enjoy a free day in Aqaba to relax, take a stroll or simply enjoy the beach and the waters of the Red Sea, populated with colorful fish. For water sports enthusiasts, it is possible to organize snorkeling sessions or diving trips to discover the seabed of the Red Sea.
Night in Aqaba.

Return to Amman
Enjoy a free morning in Aqaba to savor a few more moments of relaxation on the beach, by the Red Sea. After lunch, head back towards Amman by crossing the Wadi Araba, in the Jordan Valley.
Upon arrival in the Jordanian capital, enjoy a panoramic tour of Amman's main sites, before heading to a typical restaurant for dinner.
