Day-by-day itinerary
On the way to the north
After breakfast, we embark on a long journey towards the north of Togo, heading to the small town of Dapaong. Arrival and city tour, visit of the caves and granaries of Nano and Maproug nestled in the cliff face and the rock paintings of Namoudjoga. Dapaong is also the Moba country where several major tourist attractions of the region are located.

Tamberma Country
One of the major attractions of the north is undoubtedly the incredible Tamberma region and its extraordinary riches. Its landscapes carved by cliffs in the heart of the Atakora mountains. Discovery today of the astonishing architecture of houses called "tata", veritable fortresses built by the ingenuity of a people who came from Burkina Faso.

Tcharé and Mount Kabyé
Head to Mont Kabyé via the famous Aladjo cliff in the heart of a spectacular landscape. What a marvel! Detour to the village of Tcharé where villagers with their expertise have transformed the mountain into cultivated terraces. Meet with the potters and blacksmiths of the village.
Ameganpé and Yikpa Waterfalls
We are back on the road south today. The regions we travel through are full of attractions and we make sightseeing stops throughout the journey.
Notably we trek towards the extraordinary waterfalls of Ameganpé and especially Yikpa. The latter, on the border with Ghana, are among the largest waterfalls in West Africa. We discover lush valleys and rich nature dotted with small villages.
From there, we have only a short drive left to Kpalimé, where we settle in at the hotel.
Nature et rando autour de Kpalimé
The Kpalimé region is a green paradise in Togo, and our stay here will easily convince us of it. Lush plateaus, jungles, waterfalls, nature lovers will be delighted!
We'll take advantage of the beautiful morning to visit the Womé waterfalls (close to Kpalimé, which we reach after a short drive followed by a little walk through the forest. The place is idyllic for swimming, the water deep enough and pleasantly cool!
We return to town for a must-see in the area: the Kpalimé market, very lively and colorful.
Finally we dedicate the rest of the day to a beautiful hike to Mount Agou, which at 986 meters altitude is the highest point in the country. Beautiful vegetation, superb views and small villages scattered on its slopes, the hike is enchanting.
Kouma Kounda
The day is entirely devoted to discovering the wonders of the small village of Kouma Kounda, located about fifteen kilometers from Kpalimé. This calm and green village is situated in the midst of generous nature rich in butterflies and beetles, so much so that many residents have specialized in butterfly and insect paintings and the village is beautifully decorated with paintings.
The surroundings of the village lend themselves to numerous walks to discover the local fauna and flora, pretty waterfalls and superb panoramic views.
Return to Kpalimé for the night.
Capital Visit
We return today to Lomé, the bustling and vibrant capital of the country, located on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean and brimming with markets, restaurants, bars/maquis and other businesses.
We stroll through the largest market in the city to meet the Nana Benz, merchant women trading in Vlisco fabrics and valuable jewelry. Lomé is also home to great monuments such as Liberty Square, Independence Square and its famous fetish market.
On the shores of Lake Togo
Togoville is a small village in the maritime region of Togo. It is this village that gave its name to the country. It is located on the shores of the largest and most beautiful lake in the country, Lake Togo, which we visit by canoe. Togoville is also renowned for being a village rich in traditions. We notice in fact fetishes and wooden sculptures in front of many houses.
In the afternoon, we take a small excursion to Agbodrafo to experience emotionally the history of slavery. The slave house, the well of the chained, the cannons, we tour all the sites of interest.

Just a few hours left in Togo and we make the most of it with one last tour of the city in Lomé. We visit the international arts museum then head over to the beach for a stroll to share our joys and emotions. A few souvenir purchases and refreshments and it's already time for the transfer to the airport for our return journey.

Registration is considered firm and final after payment of a deposit of 30% of the total price and acceptance of the specific terms of sale.
The balance must be paid no later than 45 days before the departure date.

The information below concerns travelers who are nationals of the European Economic Area (EEA), Switzerland, and Canada traveling to Togo for a leisure trip. Entry rules may change, so we recommend verifying this information with official authorities before departure.
Passport
To enter Togo, your passport must be valid for a minimum of six months after the date of entry into the country and must contain at least one blank page for immigration stamps.
The document must be in good condition (no damaged, torn, or altered pages).
Visa
Nationals of the European Economic Area, Switzerland, and Canada must obtain a visa to enter Togo. This visa can be obtained through two methods:
the electronic visa (e-visa), which must be requested online before departure through the official Togolese authorities portal,
the visa on arrival, available at Gnassingbé Eyadéma International Airport in Lomé, subject to meeting the required conditions.
The tourist visa is generally granted for a stay of up to 30 days, with the possibility of an extension through Togolese immigration services.
Authorities may request:
an exit ticket from the territory (return flight or onward journey),
proof of sufficient financial resources for the duration of your stay,
an accommodation booking.
Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate
Presentation of an international yellow fever vaccination certificate is mandatory for entry to Togo. This document must be valid and comply with World Health Organization (WHO) standards.
It is recommended that you obtain this certificate before departure, as its absence may result in entry denial or quarantine upon arrival.
Health
Apart from yellow fever vaccination, it is advisable to consult a doctor or vaccination center before departure. Other vaccinations may be recommended depending on your personal situation (hepatitis A and B, typhoid, meningitis, etc.).
Togo is a malaria-risk country: antimalarial preventive treatment is strongly recommended. The use of insect repellents and insecticide-treated mosquito nets is also advised.
Traveling with Children
Minors must hold their own valid passport covering the duration of the stay, as well as a valid visa.
In certain European countries, when a minor travels without one of their parents, an exit authorization from the territory may be required according to the regulations of the country of residence.
