Heading to the Pacific Coast
The road towards the Pacific coast of Vancouver Island winds between lakes and mountains. At Cathedral Grove Provincial Park, stop to discover the last remnant of the temperate rainforest that covered the island over a thousand years ago: admire the majestic Douglas firs, the oldest of which is 800 years old.
Arrival in the charming community of Ucluelet and check-in at your stunning hotel perched on the cliff, the Black Rock Ocean Front Resort. A choice address in the region, it also stands out for its multiple green initiatives.

Return towards the east coast of Vancouver.

Passeport
Pour entrer au Canada, votre passeport doit être valide pour toute la durée du séjour prévu. Il est toutefois fortement conseillé qu'il reste valide au moins six mois après la date de retour prévue.
Le document doit comporter au moins une page vierge pour les tampons d'immigration et être en bon état (pas de pages détériorées, déchirées ou modifiées).

Séjour touristique sans visa
Les ressortissants de l'Espace économique européen et de la Suisse bénéficient d'une exemption de visa pour les séjours touristiques au Canada.
Cette exemption permet un séjour pouvant aller jusqu'à 6 mois lors de l'entrée sur le territoire, selon l'appréciation de l'agent des services frontaliers canadiens.
Les autorités peuvent demander :
un billet de sortie du territoire (vol retour ou continuation),
une preuve de ressources financières suffisantes pour la durée du séjour,
des justificatifs concernant le but et les conditions du séjour.
Autorisation de Voyage Électronique (AVE)
Les ressortissants de l'EEE et de la Suisse voyageant par voie aérienne doivent obligatoirement obtenir une Autorisation de Voyage Électronique (AVE) avant leur départ. Cette formalité ne s'applique pas aux voyages effectués par voie terrestre ou maritime.
L'AVE est liée électroniquement au passeport et permet aux autorités canadiennes de vérifier l'admissibilité du voyageur. Elle est valide 5 ans ou jusqu'à l'expiration du passeport, pour des séjours multiples.
Pour l'obtenir, il est nécessaire de fournir :

une adresse électronique valide
un moyen de paiement (les frais s'élèvent à 7 CAD)
La demande doit être effectuée en ligne sur le site officiel du gouvernement canadien, idéalement plusieurs jours avant le départ. La confirmation est généralement transmise par courriel en quelques minutes, mais peut parfois prendre plusieurs jours.
Santé
Aucun vaccin n'est obligatoire pour entrer au Canada. Il est néanmoins recommandé de s'assurer que les vaccinations courantes (diphtérie, tétanos, rougeole, etc.) sont à jour avant le départ.
La souscription à une assurance santé et rapatriement est vivement conseillée, les frais médicaux au Canada étant particulièrement élevés pour les visiteurs étrangers non couverts par un régime public.
Voyage avec des enfants
Les mineurs doivent être titulaires de leur propre passeport valide couvrant la durée du séjour.
Lorsqu'un enfant voyage accompagné d'un seul parent ou d'un adulte qui n'est pas son parent, les autorités canadiennes peuvent demander une lettre de consentement signée par le ou les parents absents, accompagnée si possible d'une pièce d'identité de ces derniers. Ce document, bien que non systématiquement exigé, est fortement recommandé pour éviter tout problème à l'entrée.
Dans certains pays européens, une autorisation de sortie du territoire peut également être requise selon la réglementation du pays de résidence.

Les conditions d'entrée peuvent varier selon la nationalité. Les voyageurs concernés doivent se renseigner auprès de l'ambassade ou du consulat du Canada de leur pays de résidence ou consulter le site officiel du gouvernement canadien.
