Day-by-day itinerary
Glendalough and Kilkenny
Upon your arrival in Irlande, take possession of your rental vehicle and set off to explore the green and wooded landscapes of County Wicklow.
Renowned for its gardens and national park, it is also home to the impressive remains of the Glendalough monastery.
In the afternoon, explore the narrow streets of the medieval city of Kilkenny and its castle, which was founded by the Normans in the 12th century.
For a breathtaking view of the city, climb to the top of the round tower of the Cathedral of St. Kilkenny is also a major hub for craftsmanship, perfect for finding quality souvenirs.
Overnight in Kilkenny.
The Rock of Cashel and Cahir Castle
Continue your journey towards the Atlantic coast, in south-west Irlande. On the way, stop at the Cashel Castle and its famous rock, the former seat of the Kings of Munster.
Standing a little further on the banks of the Suir river, theCahir Castleis one of the largest in Irlande and is also worth a visit.
Upon your arrival in the splendid Kerry, at the end of the day, you will understand why this region is nicknamed "the Kingdom"!

The Ring of Kerry
One of the most beautiful drives in Irlande ! This superb circuit hugs the coast of the Ivreagh peninsula. It will take you between steep mountain passes and coastal roads offering you the best panoramic views of the Atlantic and Killarney National Park. The complete loop is approximately 165 km.
Among its many attractions, don't miss Torc Waterfall, Moll's Gap pass, Ladies View and the abbey of Muckross House.
Let yourself be amazed by the fabulous landscape and enjoy fresh seafood or fresh fish in the charming small villages dotting the route.

The Gap of Dunloe
The Gap of Dunloe is a mountain pass between the Macgillycuddy's Reeks and the Purple Mountains. It's a magnificent day trip from Killarney, which can be done as a sporting adventure or without any effort at all!
Take the boat from Ross Castle pier across the three lakes of the national park to Lord Bandon's cottage.
From there, you can cross the pass on foot, by bike or by horse-drawn carriage to Kate's cottage before returning to Killarney by bus. A splendid day in the heart of nature.

Dingle Peninsula
Head north to explore the Dingle Peninsula, at the tip of Kerry.
With stunning panoramas and charming beaches, Dingle contains several historical sites, such as the Gallarus Oratory: built with dressed stone, it is believed to have served as a funerary chapel or shelter for pilgrims.
Take the Slea Head route, at the very tip of the peninsula, for a spectacular view of the Blasket Islands.
The village of Dingle itself has several friendly pubs and restaurants.

Cliffs of Moher and the Burren

Standing at 214 metres high, the Cliffs of Moher are a must-see when visiting Ireland.
The path running along the ridge offers breathtaking views over the horizon and of waves crashing against the wall below.
You can also spot multiple bird colonies there.

In the afternoon, take a walk through the Burren National Park, a region with distinctive geology that is home to flora found nowhere else.
In this lunar landscape, nature has sculpted the rock into amazing shapes and there is an almost mystical atmosphere!
To Galway
In the evening, enjoy listening to a traditional music session in one of the lively pubs in Galway.

Connemara National Park
With its raw and majestic landscapes dotted with sparkling lakes, Connemara embodies all the magic of Irlande. Nothing quite like a hike in the Connemara National Park to capture all the beauty of the surroundings. The coast is full of charming small villages.
Take the scenic "Sky Road" route towards Clifden then visit the magnificent Kylemore Abbey. Born from the whim of an English millionaire in 1868, the building has housed a convent of Benedictine nuns for now a century.
The abbey also has charming Victorian gardens and a café where you can enjoy tea and a scone.

Clonmacnoise and Dublin
Parc National du Connemara → Dublin
On your way back to Dublin, stop at the Clonmacnoise Monastery, an ancient landmark of Celtic Christianity.
Once you arrive at the capital, return your rental vehicle and start exploring the surroundings.
With a human scale, the Centre is pleasant to visit on foot, which allows you to appreciate the architecture of Georgian houses and their colourful doors.
To spot the different iconic monuments, don't hesitate to board one of the double-decker buses that travel through the city.
In the evening, attend a show of traditional Irish dancing and immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere in the Temple Bar quarter.

Trinity College and the Guinness Brewery
Step into Trinity College and its renowned library. Among numerous treasures, it houses notably the Book of Kells, a medieval manuscript with magnificent illuminations.
Stroll along the Liffey, crossed by the Ha'Penny bridge, to St James's Gate.
This is where the famous Guinness beer is produced. Discover the secrets of its brewing through a brewery tour and admire the view over Dublin from the panoramic bar at the top of the building.
For a breath of fresh air, head to the vast Phoenix Park, where many deer live.
