Between Earth & Sea

After lunch, we head off to discover the historic center of Ayutthaya. We explore in particular the Wat Mahathat, a major temple dating from the late 14th century, famous for the Buddha head entwined in the roots of a tree, which has become one of the symbols of the site.

The visit continues towards the Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, a former royal temple and the largest in the ancient capital, recognizable by its elegant aligned chedis that testify to the former grandeur of the kingdom.

Finally, we discover the Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon, renowned for its impressive reclining Buddha and peaceful atmosphere, offering a beautiful conclusion to this immersion in the heart of Siamese history.

This morning, we start the day with a visit to the Baan Saladin agrotourism village, where you will discover the process of making the famous puffed rice cakes, before being able to enjoy a tasting.

We then continue our adventure with an exploration of the large Maha Sawat canal, formerly used to supply Bangkok's markets. Aboard a boat, we will enjoy a peaceful ride through its waters, while observing local wildlife and feeding the fish.

Back on dry land, we will visit a fruit garden, where you can admire the gac fruit plantations and discover the making of various products based on this unique fruit.

We will end this morning with a visit to a lake where magnificent lotus flowers bloom, offering a peaceful landscape to contemplate.

We then head to Nakhon Pathom, which is home to the Wat Phra Pathom Chedi, Thailand's tallest stupa.

Departure for the railway station and boarding around 10:40 on the famous "Death Railway" made famous by the history of the film "The Bridge on the River Kwai", for approximately 1 hour by train heading West to the SaiYok region, located 70 km west at the end of the railway line.

After lunch, we spend the afternoon at "Elephant Haven". On site, we purchase fruit baskets (not included – approximately 3 euros per basket), treats for the pachyderms.
Early in the afternoon, we enjoy an exceptional moment: bathing with the Elephants! Return late afternoon to Kanchanaburi.

Morning departure for the national park and the Erawan Falls (63 km drive). This national park is home to a superb waterfall extending over 7 levels, forming natural pools with emerald blue waters teeming with Mahseer Barbs. If you prefer to stay around the first 3 levels, the easiest to access, and swim there, a climb to the 7th level, while not difficult, is rewarding: La Phu Pha Erawan, with the final waterfall being the most majestic spot in the area.

Transfer towards the sumptuous nature of the Phang Nga Bay, with its breathtaking landscapes and unique caves hidden among the immense limestone cliffs.

We begin our journey on the water in the most traditional way possible – our longtail boat takes us along the lush mangrove forests, which are, among other things, the habitat of monitor lizards, snakes, long-tailed macaques and various bird species.

We will reach the islands of Koh Hong, an archipelago renowned for its shallow coral reefs and beaches like Koh Ladin and Pak Bier. On the island, the white sand of rare fineness and the emerald green sea make them magical. You will discover the interior of the island during a beautiful walk that will take you to the arranged viewpoint where you will enjoy a grandiose 360° view of all the surrounding islands!

You will also discover its incredible lagoon, encircled by immense verdant peaks and bordered by mangroves.

Return transfer to your hotel.

Privatized cruise

Day trip by speedboat around the mythical Phi Phi islands to share in a small group (Max. 15/17 people on a 35-seat boat).

Our experience allows us to adapt the itinerary at any time to make this day as exclusive as possible, meaning far from mass tourism!

We will visit Bamboo Islands, Monkey Beach, the lagoon, Viking Cave and Maya Bay but also and especially we will enjoy the lesser-known beaches.

What's on the agenda? Fantastic landscapes, numerous beaches and swimming sessions, at least two incredible snorkeling dives in the crystal-clear waters of Koh Phi Phi where you may have the chance to observe sharks and turtles, lunch on a quiet beach. Return around 3pm.

Visit Wat Pho, one of Bangkok's oldest temples, renowned for its peaceful atmosphere and elegant pavilions. You will discover the impressive Reclining Buddha, an emblematic figure of the place, as well as the inner courtyards dotted with stupas and refined decorative details.

Then, you cross the river on board a small boat to reach Wat Arun, the famous "Temple of Dawn", standing on the right bank. Upon arrival, you admire its spectacular central prang, finely decorated with porcelain mosaics and floral motifs that glitter in the light.

A ride aboard a private traditional "long-tail" boat-taxi on the Chao Praya river, one of the country's most important waterways and the lifeblood of Bangkok. As you drift along the water, you discover the "Venice of the East," between peaceful klongs, stilt houses and small temples hidden along the banks.

In the evening, free exploration of the Chinatown district Yaowarat and Talat Noi. Night at the W22 by Burasari hotel. 1 Superior Room
