Highlights
Day-by-day itinerary

Welcome to Bayahibe!
Upon your arrival at Santo Domingo or Punta Cana international airport, your driver welcomes you for a private transfer to your residence in Bayahibe / Dominicus. You settle into a fully equipped one-bedroom apartment with access to the residence's swimming pool.
On site, Joy, your English-speaking representative, shows you around the accommodation and answers your questions. In the evening, dinner is reserved at one of our partner restaurants to discover local flavors.

Free day in Bayahibe
After your first night on location, have breakfast at a partner establishment near the residence. The day is free: get your bearings, relax by the pool or head to the beach, just five minutes' walk from your accommodation.
Lunch is at your leisure.
In the evening, a private taxi takes you to the village of Bayahibe to dine, if you wish, at a typical restaurant known for its fresh seafood and friendly atmosphere.

Saona Island Excursion: A Day of Relaxation and Discovery
After breakfast in a partner restaurant near your accommodation, your driver will pick you up around 8:15 a.m. to take you to the Bayahibe port. You will board a luxury catamaran, in a small group, to reach Saona.
The day includes a snorkeling session guided by your English-speaking guide to observe tropical fish, a relaxing moment on a private beach and lunch on board, prepared with fresh and local products. You will then stop at the natural pool of Palmillas, where you can admire starfish.
Return to your residence in late afternoon. Dinner on your own.

Dominican cultural immersion
Have breakfast at a partner restaurant near your residence, according to arrangements made by us. Around 8:15 a.m., your English-speaking guide and your private driver will pick you up.
The day begins at the Cave of Wonders, a classified natural site where you discover Taíno rock paintings. You then visit a local clothing factory to better understand working conditions and the daily life of workers.
After lunch of fresh fish with your feet in the sand, discover Altos de Chavón, a replica of a Mediterranean village overlooking the Chavón River. The day ends with a visit to an artisanal chocolate shop, with tasting.

Private Excursion to Cotubanamá National Park
After breakfast at a restaurant near your accommodation, meet your English-speaking guide for a private excursion. A walking tour in the Cotubanamá National Park allows you to discover the local flora before heading to Chicho Cave and its underground pool.
On site, enjoy swimming and a guided snorkeling session, with a lamp provided. Your guide then takes you by taxi to a local restaurant in Bayahibe for lunch. He will settle you in and give you directions before letting you enjoy your meal.
Return to your residence is scheduled for around 2 p.m. The afternoon is free to enjoy the pool or the beach, located five minutes away.

Exploring Santo Domingo
After breakfast in a restaurant near your accommodation in Bayahibe, your guide will pick you up around 8 a.m. to head to Santo Domingo.
You will first discover the Cueva de los 3 Ojos, an open-air cave housing three freshwater lagoons, then the Colonial Zone and its historic monuments, including the cathedral and the National Pantheon.
After a typical lunch, you will take the Santo Domingo cable car to admire the city from above. The end of the afternoon is free in the shopping street of the Colonial Zone.
Return to your accommodation around 5 p.m.

Catalina Island by Catamaran
After breakfast at a restaurant near your accommodation, you board a catamaran heading to Catalina Island. A first stop at the Wall allows you to snorkel in clear waters. You then head to the Aquarium to observe its fish and corals.
A lunch of typical dishes is served on board, followed by free time to relax and enjoy the sea.
On the return journey, you travel along the coast passing by La Romana and Casa de Campo, while the crew comments on points of interest. Navigation continues on the Chavón river before returning to the starting point around 5 p.m.

See you soon in Dominican Republic!
