First stop: Buenos Aires. Take time to immerse yourself in the energy of the capital, between its colorful neighborhoods, its gastronomy and the notes of tango that are part of its identity.
Then a change of scenery. You fly to Ushuaia, at the extreme south of the country. Here, mountains, forests and the Beagle Channel make up the landscape and truly give the feeling of having reached the end of the world.
The adventure continues in Patagonia, in El Calafate, the starting point for discovering the Perito Moreno Glacier. A stop facing ice and vast open spaces, in an environment where nature takes center stage.
To finish, head to Iguazú Falls. The sound of water, the succession of cascades and their power offer a final face of Argentina, very different from those encountered so far.

Your arrival in Buenos Aires
Welcome to Argentina! You arrive at Ezeiza International Airport, where a private transfer takes you to your hotel, located in the heart of Buenos Aires.
Visit to the city of Buenos Aires
Historic Downtown
Begin your discovery of Buenos Aires at Plaza de Mayo, at the heart of Argentine history. Facing the Casa Rosada, the colonial Cabildo and the Cathedral, your guide will take you through the major stages of independence and the country's political struggles.
Continue on foot along Avenida de Mayo to the National Congress, passing elegant Belle Époque-style cafés.
San Telmo – Authenticity and bohemian atmosphere
You then head to San Telmo, one of Buenos Aires' oldest neighborhoods. Stroll through its cobblestone streets, lined with colonial houses and antique shops, then discover its covered market and artist studios. At Plaza Dorrego, experience the lively atmosphere that accompanies tango culture.
La Boca – Colors and popular traditions
By local transport, you then head to La Boca. You stroll along Caminito, known for its colorful houses, tango dancers and murals. Your guide tells you about the neighborhood's working-class history, its links to Italian immigration and its residents' passion for the Boca Juniors club.
Departure for the End of the World
You leave Buenos Aires and fly to Ushuaia, at the far south of Argentina. Upon arrival, discover the landscapes of Tierra del Fuego, between mountains, southern forests and the waters of the Beagle Channel.
Visit to Tierra del Fuego National Park
Discover Tierra del Fuego National Park and explore its subantarctic forest bordered by the Beagle Channel. You will explore the landscapes of the far southwest of Tierra del Fuego province, in Antarctica and the South Atlantic islands.
Your first stop takes you to Ensenada and its bay, facing Navarino and Hoste islands, located in the Chilean part of the archipelago, as well as Redonda island.
You then continue to Acigami Lake, formerly called Roca Lake. A short walk along its shores allows you to enjoy the area before heading to the Alkush reception center.
Then, follow the Lapataia River to the bay of the same name, where National Route 3 ends and where the southern and western limits meet. A few boardwalks lead you to the panoramic viewpoint, with the Channel and mountain range as a backdrop.
Hiking to Esmeralda Lagoon
Laguna Esmeralda is a natural glacial lake, located about twenty kilometers north of Ushuaia, in the province of Tierra del Fuego. Its name echoes the blue-green hue of its waters, colored by sediments from the Ojo del Albino glacier.
In the morning, your guide will pick you up directly from your accommodation in Ushuaia. After approximately 20 to 30 minutes of driving, you will reach the starting point of the hike.
You will then embark on a marked trail that crosses the subantarctic forest, peatlands and runs alongside the Esmeralda River. The hike is moderate level. The route is not particularly technical, but some sections may be muddy or wet, with rocks, roots and a few fallen logs to cross. The final climb requires a bit more effort.
Allow approximately 4 to 5 hours of walking round trip, depending on the group's pace and breaks.
Upon arrival at Laguna Esmeralda, take time to rest, admire the landscape and take some photos before heading back.
Take a walk with the penguins
Discover Tierra del Fuego through its wild landscapes and the history of its pioneers.Departing from Ushuaia, you travel by road between mountains, southern forests and wild coastlines to Estancia Harberton, the oldest estancia in the region.
Founded in the late 19th century, Estancia Harberton tells part of the story of Tierra del Fuego's pioneers. Its historic buildings and preserved surroundings offer insight into what life was like in this isolated region.
Next comes navigation towards Isla Martillo, also called "penguin island". You get close to a colony of Magellanic and Gentoo penguins, which you observe moving freely in their natural habitat.
A moment spent close to Tierra del Fuego's wildlife, in a setting shaped by wind and the cries of birds.
Departure for El Calafate
You leave behind Ushuaia and Tierra del Fuego to reach El Calafate, in the heart of southern Patagonia. The landscapes change and give way to wide open spaces, mountains and glaciers. You gradually approach Perito Moreno.

Early in the morning, you head to the port of Punta Bandera, located 47 km from El Calafate. You board a modern and comfortable catamaran for a cruise of approximately 6 to 7 hours.
As you navigate, you cross the frozen channels of the park, between mountains and icebergs with ever-changing shapes and colors.
The highlights of the excursion:
Upsala Glacier: sail through a field of gigantic icebergs detached from the glacier's front, depending on navigation conditions.
Spegazzini Glacier: approach the park's highest glacier, with its ice wall of 135 meters.
Bay of Glaciers (Bahía de los Glaciares): disembark on the shore for a short guided walk to a panoramic viewpoint, with views of the Spegazzini, Heim and Seco glaciers.

The majestic Perito Moreno
You leave your hotel at 8:00 AM to reach Perito Moreno, located 80 km away. On the way, you travel along the south shore of the Argentino Lake before arriving at the entrance of the Glaciers National Park.
Once there, take the walkways that provide access to different viewpoints of the glacier. You can thus observe it from several angles and take time to enjoy the landscape.
You then board for a cruise on the Argentino Lake to get closer to the glaciers. With a bit of luck, you may witness blocks of ice breaking off from the glacier's front.

Visit to the Balcon d'El Calafate
Leave El Calafate aboard a 4x4 and head towards Cerro Huyliche. The trails cross the steppe and gradually gain altitude, gradually revealing another facet of Patagonia.
From the Balcones, your gaze extends over the turquoise waters of Lago Argentino, the peaks of the Andes Cordillera and the mineral expanses that shape the landscape. On clear days, you enjoy an unobstructed view of the region's great peaks.

Departure for Iguazú

You set course towards the north and the province of Misiones. The scenery changes completely: water, lush vegetation and exotic wildlife accompany this new stage of your journey.
Visit to the Falls on the Argentine side
Discover the Iguazu Falls on the Argentine side. It is a set of 275 waterfalls. You take the lower and upper walkways, which allow you to observe the falls from different viewpoints and get as close as possible to the water.
You then visit the interpretation center before following the trails leading to Dos Hermanas, Bossetti, Escondido, Union and San Martin falls.
To finish, board the Tren de la Selva heading towards Garganta del Diablo. From the walkways, you discover all the power of the waters that pour into the Iguazu river.
Late afternoon, return to Puerto Iguazu.
Discovery of Brazilian Falls and Return to Buenos Aires
Iguazu Falls, Brazilian side: the grandiose view

Passport
To enter Argentina, your passport must be valid for the entire duration of your planned stay and contain at least one blank page for immigration stamps.
The document must be in good condition (no damaged, torn, or altered pages).
Tourist stay without a visa
Nationals of the European Economic Area, Switzerland, and Canada benefit from visa exemption for tourist stays in Argentina.
This exemption allows for a stay of up to 90 days from the date of entry into the country. An extension of an additional 90 days can generally be requested on site at the Argentine National Immigration Authority.
Authorities may also request:
an exit ticket from the country (return flight or onward travel),
proof of sufficient financial resources for the duration of your stay,
an accommodation address in Argentine territory.
Health and vaccinations
No vaccination is mandatory to enter Argentina from Europe or Canada. However, certain vaccinations are recommended depending on the regions you visit:
the yellow fever vaccine is recommended for travelers heading to the tropical zones in the north of the country (Misiones, Formosa, Chaco, and Jujuy provinces);
updating routine vaccinations (diphtheria, tetanus, poliomyelitis, measles) is advised.
It is recommended to consult a doctor or an international vaccination center before departure.
Traveling with children
Minors must hold their own valid passport covering the duration of the stay.
When a minor travels without one or both parents, a notarized parental authorization may be required by Argentine authorities at entry or exit. It is strongly advised to check beforehand with the competent Argentine consulate.
