Alsatian Vineyards and Old Colmar
We have an appointment at 9:45 AM at Colmar train station. This is an opportunity to meet Captain Martin and the rest of the group before heading off to discover the old town center of Colmar, nicknamed "Little Venice". We stroll through the streets and begin to immerse ourselves in the Alsatian atmosphere.
We then take the regional bus heading to the village of Hunawihr. As we make our way up the village, we make a stop at an estate to pick up glasses and a bottle that will accompany our midday picnic, scheduled in the vineyards. It's a friendly moment during which Captain Martin shares his passion for his native region, punctuated by many personal stories.
The afternoon continues with a visit to the cellar of the Domaine Sipp-Mack. We are welcomed for a blind tasting of five different wines from the estate. Guided by professional and passionate winemakers, we discover oenology step by step and appreciate the aromatic palette of Alsatian wines, which is at once complex, rich and unique.
At the end of the day, we take the path through the vineyards across the forest to reach our inn for the next two nights. This cooperative inn is located in the heart of the forest and brings together a permaculture farm, work workshops and a restaurant.

Alsatian Villages and Local Flavors on a Stroll
Today, we're heading off to discover Ribeauvillé, an Alsatian village with authentic charm. From the town, we take trails through the vineyards to reach Bergheim, recently elected most beautiful village in France. We tour the medieval ramparts, then continue toward the dry hill of Grasberg, a true "biodiversity hotspot" benefiting from a microclimate conducive to grape cultivation.
Along the way, Captain Martin, who himself worked in the vineyards, shares his experience of viticultural work throughout the seasons and presents the different Alsatian terroirs crossed during the stay, of which there are three.
We then enjoy a picnic featuring local products in the middle of the vineyards, before resuming our journey passing through the grand crus of Ribeauvillé. Back at the village, we stop at Laurent's, who runs a small wine bar in the heart of the historic centre. His menu features all 51 Alsatian grand crus. He welcomes us for a guided tasting focused on the concept of terroir. Alsace has no fewer than 13 different soil types: we taste 5 wines from 5 distinct terroirs, accompanied by boards of local charcuterie and cheese.
At the end of the day, we return to our inn by crossing through the forest and finish the evening with an Alsatian dinner.

Monastery and Castles of Ribeauvillé
We have breakfast at the inn, then we prepare our bags before hitting the road. We head to the Dusenbach monastery, perched on a rock in the middle of the forest, a place that is truly out of time.
We then continue towards the three castles of Ribeauvillé: Saint-Ulrich, Girsberg and Haut Ribeaupierre. These medieval castles from the 11th century are the symbol of the town, which organizes medieval festivals around this history.
At the heart of one of the castles, we enjoy a gourmet picnic accompanied by a glass of one of the local wines. We then make our way back down to Ribeauvillé to catch the regional bus heading to Colmar. Upon arrival, we can still enjoy a final glass in Colmar or take time to visit before returning to the station, scheduled for 4:15 PM.

Registration is considered firm and final after payment of a deposit of 30% of the total price and acceptance of the specific terms of sale.
The balance must be paid no later than 45 days before the departure date.
