After breakfast, visit the Gračanica Monastery listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site.

You will head towards the "Bear Sanctuary" or "Pristina Bear Sanctuary", a park where many bears previously held in captivity in private restaurants in Kosovo and Albania were released.

On the way to Novo Brdo Fortress located on the heights of a plateau offering a splendid panoramic view of the region.

Embark on a visit that will retrace the history of the Croatian community that settled in Janjevo in the 14th century. An important economic hub for Croats who worked alongside Saxons in the Novo Brdo and Kopaonik mines.

You will continue your journey to the Marble Cave or Gadime Cave. Discover an underground world of breathtaking stalactites, stalagmites and aragonites that formed over 200 million years ago. Blue, red, white and yellow elements abound along the ceilings, walls and floors of the cave, offering an extraordinary experience.

Janjevo → Prizren

After breakfast, we offer three options during the day: For adventurers, we invite you to try paragliding or via ferrata (you can do both activities on the same day). For those who prefer not to do these activities, we invite you to relax in Prizren.

  • Paragliding (€70 per person): A baptism flight takes place in complete safety with an expert instructor to whom you will be securely attached. The takeoff and landing during your paragliding flight will be smooth, and in addition to the sensations, you will be able to enjoy a fantastic panorama of Prizren.

  • Via ferrata (€15 per person): You will begin a climbing experience in which you will complete a course of a series of steel ropes and stairs while being firmly secured to the rock. Built with the support of Italian experts using cutting-edge techniques and equipment, the Via Ferrata is as safe as it is memorable. The via ferrata generally goes up and down in approximately 2-3 hours.

After lunch, join the White Drin Waterfall, walk to the top where you will reach the caves "of Sleeping Beauty" for an interior visit of the galleries carved for centuries by the force of water.

You will head towards the Rugova Gorges.

On the way, visit the Patriarchal Monastery of Peja, one of the strongholds of the Orthodox religion in the region. Admire its many well-preserved frescoes as well as the calm and serene atmosphere present in this place.

Rugova Gorges – Kuqishte Hiking Trail, Kosovo

After breakfast, you will head towards Kuqishte from where you will begin a hike in the Albanian Alps.

You will appreciate the beauty of the landscape and you will cross two glacial lakes « Liqeni i Kuqishtës » & « Liqeni i Drelajve » in which, if you are adventurous, you can take a swim.

Rugova Gorge - Mitrovica - Pristina, Kosovo

After breakfast, you will head towards Mitrovica, passing by the Gazivode Lake which stretches over 24 km in length between Kosovo and Serbia. Located at 690 m altitude, at the foot of the Mokra Gora massif, it offers magnificent landscapes and corners of nature that are all the more preserved as human settlements are very rare here.

After lunch, a short tour of the most divided city in the Balkans! Since 1999, the Ibar river has served as a border between the small North Mitrovica, predominantly Serbian, and the large South Mitrovica, essentially populated by Albanians. For its benefit and misfortune, Mitrovica is situated right next to the largest lignite deposit in the Balkans, the Trepča mines.

Passport

To enter Kosovo, your passport must be valid for the entire duration of your stay and must have at least one blank page for immigration stamps.
The document must be in good condition (no damaged, torn or altered pages).

Tourist stay without visa

Nationals of the European Economic Area, Switzerland and Canada benefit from a visa exemption for tourist stays in Kosovo.

This exemption allows a stay of up to 90 days within a 180-day period from the date of entry into the territory.

Authorities may also request:

  • a return travel document (return flight or onward journey),

  • proof of sufficient financial resources for the duration of your stay,

  • a hotel booking or a residential address during your stay.

Entry formalities

Upon arrival in Kosovo, travelers must present themselves to immigration services and may be required to provide:

  • information relating to their passport

  • details of their flight or means of transport

  • the address of their first accommodation in Kosovo

An entry stamp will be affixed to your passport by Kosovo immigration services. It is recommended to keep this stamp, as it may be requested when leaving the territory.

Traveling with children

Minors must hold their own valid passport covering the duration of the stay.

In certain European countries, when a minor travels without one of their parents, an authorization to leave the territory may be required according to the regulations of the country of residence.

Other nationalities

Entry conditions may vary depending on nationality. Affected travelers should contact the embassy or consulate of Kosovo in their country of residence, or the competent Kosovo authorities.
