Suasi Lodge - Nomadays
Suasi Lodge

Martha inherited the island Suasi from her family, who had owned it since colonial times. She has transformed it into a small paradise on earth, where she has built a comfortable lodge and run a responsible tourism project that preserves the island's biodiversity while benefiting the community. The Suasi Lodge is sure to appeal to those who love peace and serenity.

To go to the Suasi Lodge is to leave from Puno, to cross the lake Titicaca by making stops to visit the ** floating islands of Uros** and the island of Taquile, whose textiles are classified as World Heritage by UNESCO and to sail so close to the sky that one has the impression to be able to touch it.

The few rooms of the lodge are very comfortable and all open on the lake Titicaca. It is possible to walk around the island admiring the vigos and being surprised from time to time by the flight of a colibri coming to gather the innumerable flowers of the gardens of Suasi. You can also canoe around the island, swim in the clear waters of the lake, or simply enjoy the peace and quiet of the lake for rest and contemplation.

During a trip to Peru and when passing through Lake Titicaca, if you choose to pass through Suasi, we recommend that you stay at least two nights in order to fully enjoy this unique place.
