This is also known as Vinay Vilas Mahal, the Alwar City Palace is a excellent structure in the heart of the Alwar city. This was built at the end of 17th century, the palace is a fine example of the Rajput-Islamic architecture.

The highly visited attraction in Alwar, the designing of the Majestic Palace speaks of its entry gates, Entry in the Palace is done through various gates, which are known as Laxman Pol, Suraj Pol, Chand Pol, Kishan Pol and Andheri Gate. Once passed through these gates, once is likely to come across an open ground with Krishna temples om all sides.

This place is very well known for its heritage & archaeology, and also houses a museum which has preserved the enriching history of the Palace in it.The miniature paintings of the historical Alwar school are really very attractive and fantastic, which walls of the reputed museum. Besides the museum, there is also a Golden Durbar Hall, which is one of the feature of the Alwar City Palace.
