Phnom Penh - Kampong Thom

• In the morning, visit the Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda, true gems of the Khmer architecture built in the middle of the 19th century.

• Visit the National Museum, and discover one of the largest collections of Khmer art: 14,000 sculptures and ethnographic items, gathered for the most part from the Angkor temples.

• In the afternoon, transfer without guide to Kampong Thom. On your arrival, check-in, rest and free time.

Kampong Thom - Siem Reap

• On the edge of Kampong Thom, discover of the astounding pre-Angkorian temples of Sambor Prei Kuk. This archaeological site has been part of UNESCO World Heritage since July 2017.

  A stop in the center of Isanbores will let you enjoy and observe the local handicraft.

Siem Reap - Angkor Wat

• In a tuk-tuk, with your guide, discover the Angkor temples in and around Angkor Thom area.

  In the morning, discover Angkor Wat, the symbol of the apogee of the Khmer Empire ; Bayon and its towers with gigantic faces.

  In the afternoon, visit Ta Prohm known for its huge trees with tremendous roots and Pre Rup to admire the sunset from the heights of the temple.

Siem Reap - Tonle Sap - River boats

• Transfer to Kampong Pluk village located on the Tonle Sap lake, about 1h from Siem Reap by car. You will embark on a private boat to discover and visit floating villages.

Siem Reap - Kampong Cham

• In the morning, after breakfast, departure to Kampong Cham where you will visit the Nokor Bachey temple. Mixing recent construction and remains from the Angkorian era, the building shows an original hybrid architecture.

• In the afternoon, after crossing the Kizuna bridge (« Spien Tonle Bit » in Khmer), visit the ancient French lighthouse, a large guard tower used initially to monitor Cambodian laborers working in the rubber forests.

Kampong Cham - Kratie

• Discover the manufacturing process of natural rubber by visiting hevea plantations and the Chup factory in the vicinity of Kampong Cham.

• Facing the peaceful city of Kratie, Koh Trong Island sits conveniently in the middle of the Mekong River. In the afternoon, check the Khmer traditional village, observe the villagers' daily lifestyle, and visit the nice pagoda and the floating village.

Kratie - Sen Monorom

• In the morning, hop on a small boat to look for the Irrawaddy dolphins, one of the rare species of fresh water dolphins.

• Take the road to Mondulkiri.

• With a local guide, let’s discover the city and its surroundings. In the morning, you will go to a small waterfall and then to the Bousra waterfalls, the largest and perhaps the most beautiful in Cambodia. Cascading over 3 floors, the falls offer a magnificent view and a natural pool to swim in.

  In the afternoon, you will visit an indigenous village, observe their traditional lifestyle, and exchange with the locals.

  Next, visit The Coffee Plantation Resort to learn more about the production of "black gold", from growing coffee bushes to harvesting and roasting the grains.

  Then, your guide will take you to a pagoda where animists gather and make offerings and sacrifices. On the road, a quick stop will offer a magnificent view over the Mondulkiri province.

• In the morning, transfer to the elephant sanctuary where you will have two days to observe and understand the pachyderms’ everyday life and discover the local tribe’s culture and traditions.

  The day will start with the feeding of the elephants that you will observe later in the jungle. Then, you will bathe in a waterfall with them. Also, you will rest and observe the wildlife from the sanctuary’s « Jungle Lodge ».

  You will spend the night in a hammock with a mosquito net in the Mondulkiri Project Lodge.

• You will hike all day with a guide from the Bunong ethnic group, a unique chance to see wild deers and rare species of monkeys. The hike will lead you to a waterfall where you can swim and to the Leng Ret cave hosting a bat population. Then, you will visit Bunong farms producing wild rice, fruits, vegetables and herbs.

  On the evening, enjoy a traditional meal with the local tribe where you can taste rice wine around a camp fire at the Jungle Lodge.

Sen Monorom - Phnom Penh

• Transfer back to Phnom Penh without guide. Take the opportunity to make a last session of shopping, eat in one of the many Khmer or international restaurants (ask for any recommendations!) or visit the monuments you didn't have time to see before.

• At the intersection of the national roads N6 and N7, brace yourselves to fully enjoy a "culinary" pit stop in the small town of Skun, renowned for its grilled spiders and insects.
