Water taxis glide across the brown waters of the Chao Phraya while gongs resound from Wat Pho in Bangkok's humid air. At the Grand Palace, the Emerald Buddha watches over glazed tile roofs, facing the prang towers of Wat Arun piercing the morning mist. The Bang Kachao district reveals an unexpected jungle in the heart of the metropolis, where residents cycle between incense workshops and mushroom farms.
In the alleys of Yaowarat, the Chinese quarter exhales aromas of stir-fried noodles and spices, testifying to the waves of migration that have shaped this city of a thousand faces. Jim Thompson's house tells the story of Thai silk, while the National Museum reveals the treasures of the ancient Siam kingdom, from the bronzes of Sukhothai to the royal carriages of Ayutthaya.

The "Venice of the East"
Accompanied by your guide, you head to the docks and board a public river bus. Along the water, you travel upstream towards the historic center, on the right bank, until you reach the flower market at Pak Khlong Talat. Stroll through the fragrant aisles and immerse yourself for the first time in authentic and traditional Asia.
You are setting out to discover the architectural jewels of Bangkok. Marvel at the splendor of the Grand Palace of Bangkok, built in 1782: a sumptuous ensemble of buildings and inner courtyards, including the Wat Phra Kaeo (Temple of the Emerald Buddha). You will discover the famous Emerald Buddha, a precious statue dating from the 14th century, at the heart of one of the most revered sanctuaries in the country.
Then, on foot, you reach Wat Pho, one of Bangkok's oldest temples, renowned for its peaceful atmosphere and elegant pavilions. You discover the impressive Reclining Buddha, an iconic figure of the place, as well as the inner courtyards dotted with stupas and refined decorative details.
Then, you cross the river aboard a small boat to reach Wat Arun, the famous "Temple of Dawn", standing on the right bank. Upon arrival, you admire its spectacular central prang, finely decorated with porcelain mosaics and floral patterns that glisten in the light.
A ride aboard a private traditional "long-tail" boat-taxi on the Chao Praya river, one of the country's most important waterways and a vital artery of Bangkok. As you glide along the water, you discover the "Venice of the Orient", between peaceful klongs, stilt houses and small temples hidden along the banks.

Bangkok's "Green Lung"
Embark on a cycling tour through the capital's green lung in the extraordinary Bang Kachao neighborhood - a true jungle in the heart of the city. At the entrance, you can rent bicycles to explore the park.
You can also visit an incense stick manufacturing workshop and several small temples and see old houses in the neighborhood.
Beside Chinatown, lies the amazing Talat Noi district, one of Bangkok's oldest. Steeped in Chinese culture, this place is full of curiosities of all kinds, from street art to atypical houses and timeless temples. A true discovery of authentic Bangkok.
Visit to Wat Traimit or the Golden Buddha Temple, and the small but very interesting Yaowarat Chinatown Heritage Museum, which traces the history of Chinese immigration to Bangkok.
Suggestion: In the evening, you can stroll freely through the Chinese quarter, walk through the alleys brimming with shops of all kinds. Early in the evening, the night market sets up on Yaowarat Road and its illuminated adjoining alleys which give new life to the neighborhood. You will find all sorts of Thai and Chinese specialties for dinner.
Bangkok in Depth
We begin our day with a visit to the National Museum of Bangkok. Considered the most important in Southeast Asia, the museum houses a vast collection of antiquities including prehistoric art, murals, bronzes, objects from other Asian countries as well as ceremonial carriages used by royal families. (2 hours will be necessary for this visit)
We then head to the Jim Thompson House, a fascinating character with multiple lives, from spy to art collector, whose mysterious disappearance continues to fuel many fantasies and theories to this day.
In the evening, dinner cruise on the Chao Phraya River.

The form should generally be completed online in the days prior to your arrival. A digital confirmation or QR code may be requested when passing through immigration.
